Chris – Journeyperson Stylist/Owner
As a stylist, Chris has been in the beauty industry since 2001. After attending Marvel Beauty School, she went on to work in a family salon for 5 years and became a Journeyperson Stylist. She then moved on to working out of her home for the next 6 years. After needing a change, and moving into Hampton Village, Chris decided to open Salon AMP to share her passion of the industry with her friends and neighbors. As the owner of the salon, Chris enjoys working behind the chair as well as the challenge of being a business owner.
Toni – Journeyperson Stylist/Assistant Manager
Toni followed her passion for beauty into the styling industry, graduating from Marvel Beauty School in early 2013, and shortly after became a Journeyperson. Toni enjoys furthering her education by taking classes and attending shows to learn new trends and freshening up on the basics. Her favorite thing to do is change her client’s look completely, as well as the challenge of a color correction. Her work definitely speaks for itself.
Alana- Journeyperson Stylist
Alana has been in the industry since 1995. Graduating from Marvel Beauty School and going on to become a Journeymen Stylist the following year. Alana spent most of her time in the industry at a neighborhood salon in Saskatoon. Her favorite part of the industry is building a lasting relationship with her clients and meeting new people. Her passion is making people feel fresh and beautiful, either with a new cut or a fresh color. She loves seeing clients glow when they leave her chair.
Erin- Journeyperson Stylist
Erin graduated from Marvel Beauty School in early 2013. She began her career at Blondo’s on Broadway in Saskatoon, where she worked as a Stylist until November 2015. She then went on maternity leave, and Blondo’s closed its doors. She enjoys creating the perfect color and cutting men’s hair. Erin is excited to be a part of the team at Salon AMP.
Kayla has been an Esthetician since 2015. She specializes in eleven services, including nail enhancements and lash extensions. She also offers Microblading and medical esthetics. Along with her desire to pamper her clients, she has a love for competitions. Kayla has won three awards in lashes, competing in 2018 with the Nail Masters Canada Competition Team. Alongside working at our salon, Kayla is also currently completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan.
